For the diary: a Vienna Convention breakfast

Members are invited to a breakfast seminar on the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), otherwise known as The Vienna Convention, on Tuesday, 21 October 2014, from 7.30am-9.30am. Entitled "To Exclude or Not to Exclude the CISG: Benefits and Risks for Australian Parties", it will be delivered by Professor Ingeborg Schwenzer (University of Basel), chair of UNCITRAL's CISG Advisory Council. Commentary will be provided by the Hon Kevin Lindgren AM QC. The seminar will be held at the offices of Herbert Smith Freehills, 161 Castlereagh Street, Sydney.
