EDO NSW is seeking experienced counsel for pro bono program

Tue Oct 14 2014

EDO NSW (formerly Environmental Defender’s Office) is an independent community legal centre specialising in public interest environmental law. It was established in 1985 and today provides a full suite of legal services to help individuals, community groups and conservation groups to protect the environment through law.

EDO NSW is seeking counsel experienced in a range of areas to provide pro bono or reduced fee assistance for their high profile strategic litigation program, such as judicial review, merits cases and civil enforcement matters. These areas include administrative law, corporate law, consumer law, criminal law and planning and environmental law. Assistance in these areas would augment their well-established and long-standing relationships with the planning and environmental bar.

If you are interested in assisting, please contact their principal solicitor, Sue Higginson, by email or on ph: (02) 9262 6989 or 0428 227 363 for further information.
