"You cannot be what you cannot see" said Marian Wright Edelman - most recently referenced by Beyonce in Homecoming. And with that introduction to grab your attention: the annual NSW Bar Association Female Student Open Day will occur on 16 August 2019 - it provides female university students insight into the workings of the Bar and encourages them to consider a career as a barrister.

The Bar Association seeks volunteers to assist in running the Open Day - taking groups of students to meet with judges, see courts in operation and answer questions about life as a barrister. If you are able to volunteer your time between 9.00am and 12.30pm on Friday, 16 August, please email Ting Lim.
