Francis Forbes Society - membership renewal & donations

Mon Jun 24 2019

As mentioned at the 2019 Forbes Lecture delivered on Wednesday, 5 June 2019 by Professor Anne Twomey (Professor of Constitutional Law, University of Sydney), 'Pitt Cobbett - A Pre-Engineer's Ghost Speaks from the Grave', the forthcoming publication of Pitt Cobbett’s The Constitution and Government of Australia, 1788 to 1919 was supported through the Francis Forbes Fund. One of the Francis Forbes Society’s objects is to encourage and promote research into Australian legal history and it maintains the Francis Forbes Fund for that purpose to which donations may be made –donations of $2.00 or more are tax deductible.

The Society welcomes donations to enable us to continue to support such worthy projects – a form for donations is available here: Forbes Fund Donation Form and on the web site http://www.forbessociety.org.au at DONATIONS.

The Society also welcomes new members and encourages renewal of existing memberships: FFS Membership application – renewal 19-20
