Unveiling the portrait of Katrina Dawson

In 2018 the Bar Association commissioned acclaimed Australian artist Peter Smeeth to do a portrait of the late Katrina Dawson. His work will be unveiled at a special ceremony on Friday, 28 June 2019 at 5.15pm in the Bar Association Common Room.

Dr Peter Smeeth MBBS FRAS AWI, winner of numerous Australian art prizes, including the 2017 Archibald Packing Room prize, will be guest of honour for the evening. Sandy Dawson SC will speak on behalf of the Dawson Family and the Katrina Dawson Foundation, while President Tim Game SC will speak on behalf of the Bar Association and all members of the New South Wales Bar, on whom Katrina left an indelible impression during her brief but successful career.

For catering purposes, registration is required.
