Series 2 of Questions in Philosophy starts tonight!

Back by popular demand, Series 2 of the St Thomas More Society’s 'Questions in Philosophy' series will be held over four consecutive Thursday evenings, commencing 18 October 2018 at 6.00pm.

The topic for Series 2: "Why the law? Philosophical foundations of legal decision-making". In this series, we explore the philosophical origins of Western law with the person at the heart of legal decision-making.

All members of the NSW Bar and their friends are warmly invited to drop in and expand their philosophical outlook by attending one or more sessions. No RSVP required.

Refreshments to be provided, courtesy of the St Thomas More Society.

  • Dates: Four consecutive Thursdays: 18 & 25 October, 1 & 8 November 2018
  • Time: 6pm - 7pm
  • Venue: Union University & Schools Club, 25 Bent St Sydney (corner of Phillip and Bent Streets, enter via Bent St)
  • Cost: $10 donation per session
