Tue Aug 07 2018Tony McAvoy SC has been named QUT Outstanding Alumnus of the Year and also received the Faculty of Law’s Outstanding Alumnus Award. Mr McAvoy graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from QUT in 1988 and was admitted to the New South Wales Bar in 2000. In 2015 he became Australia's first Indigenous senior counsel. Learn more here.
