Bar FC resume Domain Soccer League competition

It is sometimes said that football is a game of two halves. Today’s game certainly showed the truth behind that sentiment.
During a dominant first half, three excellent first half team goals were scored by Coutinho, Habib SC and Chadd leaving Sir Alex little to say at half time except that there were more goals left in the game. Little did he realise it was to be the opposition who would deliver on the promise. Shortly after half time, a lucky bounce saw Pendal FC claw one back and then the momentum shifted, with Pendal working hard to ensure the scores were levelled by the time the full time whistle sounded. This game can be added to the list of games this season that saw lady luck favour the opposition. Nevertheless, an excellent effort by the whole team.

Next week’s game is on Tuesday 31 July 2018 at 1.15 p.m. on top of the Domain Car Park. As we head towards the final series, it promises to be a good contest. Friends and supporters of Bar FC are welcome.
