Bar FC hitting form at the right time

With Patchildinho back from Russia and providing recently learnt tactical assistance, Bar FC won today's fixture against Sydney Business School 2-0. Notwithstanding a very physical contest, Bar FC maintained its composure and played some of the best football seen in the Domain for some time.

A perfectly placed free kick by Coutinho found the glancing head of Hartford Davis who guided the ball off a defender and into the back of the net. The second goal was one of beauty. Played out from the back, a switch of play by Canceri, a wonderful centre kick followed to find the returning Di Michiel unmarked and ready to bury the ball into the back of the net. Bar FC then defended valiantly to see out the win.

Great individual performances across the park meant that there was no player of the match today. Bar FC were happy to welcome debutante Dewashish Adhikary who displayed some deft touches and soon looked at home amongst the fold.

Next week sees us take on the current wooden spooners, BT Financial on Thursday 19 July at 1.15 p.m. Hopefully another win will aid our late run up the ladder. All friends and supporters are welcome.
