ABA supports Indigenous voice

In its recent submission to the Joint Select Committee on Constitutional Recognition Relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, the Australian Bar Association says last year’s Uluru Statement from the Heart is "a historic opportunity to remedy the omission of First Nations peoples from the Constitution, their exclusion from the creation of the Australian state and the passage of its founding document". The ABA submission was reported in the National Affairs column of [The Australian].
