The Right to Silence: How it Operates in England and Wales

On Thursday, 4 July 2013 at 5pm to 6.30pm English barrister Colin Wells will explain how legal practitioners in England and Wales operate in the context of the curtailed right to silence. Afterwards he will be joined in a panel discussion by Ken Averre MBE and Troy Edwards, both ex-English practitioners currently in Forbes Chambers, to discuss what lessons there may be for NSW from the English experience.
