Bar Association launches its Reconciliation Action Plan

The Bar Association is delighted to announce that its Reconciliation Action Plan, which commenced on 1 January 2013, has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia. The Bar Association has worked for many years to improve the educational path for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander law students studying at NSW universities and to assist in providing career development opportunities and career prospects for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lawyers. The Bar Association looks forward to working with Reconciliation Australia to progress implementation of the Reconciliation Action Plan and engaging with national efforts towards reconciliation.
