The International Crimes Evidence Project (ICEP) aims to conduct an independent and impartial investigation into the mass atrocities that allegedly took place in the final stages of Sri Lanka's civil war. The investigation involves the gathering of testimonial, documentary and audio-visual evidence. The project has now reached a critical juncture in terms of its ongoing financial viability. In order to allow this important work to continue, PIAC is seeking financial support from the legal profession for the project, and has asked members of the bar to consider making a donation. Tuesday 20 November: The Legal History Discussion Group will meet to hear from James Watson and Justin Gleeson SC on Sydney Law Schoolâs new Legal History Course and their new book of essays on Australian Legal History. The Discussion Group meeting will commence at 5.30.
