Changes in Tutor Policy

On 20 September 2012 the Bar Council approved a new Tutor Policy.� The previous policy was reviewed as part of a broader investigation into assistance provided to new barristers.�The new policy, recommended by the Education Committee in consultation with the New Barristers Committee and after comment from the wider Bar, sets out how many readers a tutor can accept, and what role each of the tutors will play. Information on the new policy can be found on the Bar Association website.
