Circuit, District or Trial Court? Government seeks new name for Federal Magistrates Court

The Australian Government is seeking a new name for�the Federal�Magistrates Court.� Attorney General Roxon says "the title of 'Magistrate' no longer adequately reflects the expanded role and responsibilities of an FMC judicial officer working in a Chapter III federal Court."
