The Australian Chapter of the Anglo-Australasian Lawyers Society invites members to an address by Solicitor General�Michael Sexton SC, to be held on�Thursday, 3 May 2012 at 7.30am for 7.45am concluding at 9.00am at The Australian Club, Macleay Room, 165 Macquarie Street, Sydney. The address will be on "The Constitution v the states? Federalism a century after federation." Do the states have a future under the Commonwealth Constitution?� Have decisions of the High Court over the last century since federation completely changed the balance�of power between the Commonwealth and states?
