Legislation to note: amendment to the Supreme Court Rules

The Supreme Court Rule Committee has approved the Supreme Court Rules (Amendment No 418) 2011 (2011-589) — published on the NSW Legislation web site today, 18 November 2011.

The object of this Rule is to amend the Supreme Court Rules 1970:

(a) to insert a note that indicates the correct newly approved form for use in the publication of a notice of intended distribution under the Probate and Administration Act 1898, the Succession Act 2006 or Trustee Act 1925,

(b) to remove a reference to the form that, as a consequence of the approval of the new form for the publication of a notice of intended distribution, is redundant.
