Changes in criminal law matters

Legal Aid NSW is introducing changes to the way aid is granted in criminal law matters.

These changes include:

1.�Amendments to the Criminal Law Fee Scale. 2.�The introduction of two panels; Specialist Barrister Panel (Complex Criminal Matters) and Criminal Appellate Matters Panel. 3.�A new application form in Grants Online, for District or Supreme Court trial and sentence matters, and Supreme Court Bail. 4.�The introduction of new Legal Aid NSW guidelines, and amendments to the Serious Criminal Law Panel and General Criminal Law Panel Practice Standards
