NSWLRC to review the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act

The Sentencing Snapshots�published by the Bureau of Crime Statistics follows an announcement by Attorney General Greg Smith SC MP on Friday that the NSW Law Reform Commission would�examine sentencing laws to ensure courts have adequate options when dealing with offenders. The terms of reference can be viewed on the NSWLRC web site. The deadline for preliminary submissions is 31 October 2011.
