New administrative arrangements for ordering and collection of transcript for Supreme Court of New South Wales cases

Wed Aug 31 2011

From Monday 5 September 2011, there will be new administrative arrangements in place for the ordering and collection of transcripts for cases listed in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. These new arrangements will streamline the ordering process and reduce delays in the receipt of transcript. The new procedures will be as follows:

1. Parties or their legal representatives seeking to obtain transcript must complete a Transcript Order Form. This form is available on the Supreme Court website or from the Court Reporter (in court).

2. The completed form is to be forwarded to the Reporting Services Branch (RSB) by one of the following methods:

 * Email: rsb_transcript_sales@agd.nsw.gov.au * Fax: (02) 8688 9671, or * By Hand: To the Court Reporter in court (Note: daily transcripts only).

3. To enquire as to the progress of any transcript order, please call (02) 8238 9273.

4. Delivery of your transcript order will be via email or by post (an MS Word document on a CD-ROM).

If you have any questions about these new arrangements, please contact Lorraine Peterson (Client Services Manager, Reporting Services Branch) on 8238 9273 or Mark Lacey (Manager, Client Services, Supreme Court of New South Wales) on 1300 679 272 or via email at supreme_court@agd.nsw.gov.au.
