Appointments to the Local court of New South Wales

Acting Attorney General Verity Firth has announced the appointments of Louise McManus and Margaret McGlynn as part-time magistrates of the Local Court.

Both new appointments are outstanding members of the NSW legal profession, possessing the expertise and talent required of members of the judiciary, Ms Firth said.

The swearing-in ceremony will be in courtroom 5.2, level 5 of the Downing Centre at 9:00am on Monday 7 February 2011.
