Members invited to a discussion at Gleebooks

Thu Jun 10 2010

Join DPP Nicholas Cowdery AM QC for a conversation with Ken Crispin QC, author of The Quest For Justice, on Thursday, 24 June 2010 at 6.00pm for 6.30pm at Gleebooks, 49 Glebe Point Road, Glebe. Julian Burnside QC, in commenting on The Quest For Justice, said:

This is a book for all people with a concern for justice. Ken Crispin’s dedication to justice has been unflagging; his discussion of its complexities is admirable; his distress at witnessing injustice is plain. When Crispin was a judge of the ACT Supreme Court, he expressed himself with appropriate judicial restraint. It is a pleasure to see that he has shed some of that restraint along with the robes of office.
