Fundraising for Oxfam Trailwalker

Two members from the NSW Bar are participating in the Oxfam 100km Trailwalker event. Trailwalker Team Classic Combinations – comprising Malcolm Holmes QC, Susan Phillips and Kerrie and Paul Carroll� are hosting a fundraising event (coinciding with the launch of Amelia Cormack’s new album) at The Vanguard, Newtown, tonight, 31 May 2010 (doors open at 6.30pm, show at 8.30pm).� Tickets are $25 for general admission, $54� for dinner and show.� The tickets can be purchased online. There will be some special guests as well as performance of some of the tracks from Amelia’s new album which will also be on sale.� There will be a raffle with great prizes. Rob Mills (Millsy to those who watch TV) as compere/MC and Steve Leibmann will draw the raffle. This will be Malcolm’s second attempt at Trailwalker, Kerrie and Paul’s 5th and Susan’s 10th with nine previous finishes each year since 2001 – most in under 24 hours. Team members will greatly appreciate any support and look forward to it being a great night . 31 May 2010
