Legislative Council inquiry into s 132 of the Criminal Procedure Act 1986

The Legislative Council's Standing Committee on Law and Justice has launched its Inquiry into Judge Alone Trials under s 132 of the Criminal Procedure Act 1986. The closing date for submissions is Wednesday, 30 June 2010. The committee intends to hold public hearings in September 2010. Further information, such as the inquiry's terms of reference and how to make a submission, may be obtained from the committee's web site.
