Australian Lawyers' Cricket Council tour to Barbados - July 2011

Wed May 12 2010

Are you interested in playing cricket for Australia? The opportunity to wear The Baggy Green may have receded into the distance, but there is still hope. The Australian Lawyers' Cricket Council has announced that a 'selection carnival' for next year's tour to Barbados will be held in Sydney on 5-7 January 2011. All selections are based on merit. Both male and female cricketers are urged to participate.

Australia is the reigning world champion after winning the 2nd International Lawyers' Cricket World Cup at Cambridge in 2009 and competition for places will be intense. Cricketing barristers who may be interested in trying out for the team should contact Alex Martin via e-mail or on 0414 367 906.
