Web watch: reports of war crimes trials

Wed Mar 24 2010

The Library of Congress has digitised the reports of United Nations War Crimes Commission, which tried lower ranking defendants, such as camp commandants, for war crimes. The Law Reports of the Trials of War, therefore, excludes the major war crimes trials by the Nuremberg and Tokyo International Military Tribunals, but is still a rich source of material for students of history and international law. Volume 15 includes a section on the procedure of the courts. NB. Volumes are contained in large pdf files.
