Strategic Framework for Access to Justice - have your say

Attorney-General Robert McClelland today announced the start of consultation on the Access to Justice Taskforce’s Report. A series of consultation forums began today in Canberra, and will be held in Brisbane, Melbourne, Wollongong and Sydney. Comments can be submitted online , via e-mail or may be posted to the Attorney-General's Department, Access to Justice Division, 3-5 National Circuit, Barton� ACT� 2600.

Last month the Australian Government launched its blueprint for reforms to the federal civil justice system. The report of the Access to Justice Taskforce and the guide for future action propose a 'strategic framework' (rather than a revolution) based on five key principles: accessibility; appropriateness; equity; efficiency; and effectiveness.
