A ceremonial sitting will be held on Monday, 13 October 2008 to mark the retirement, from 14 October, of the Hon Justice Catherine Branson as a judge of the Federal Court of Australia. The sitting will take place at 4.30pm, courtroom 21A, Law Courts Building, Queens Square. President Anna Katzmann SC will speak on behalf of the NSW Bar and the Australian Bar Association.
