Federal Court invitation to Admiralty and Maritime Users' Group meeting

The Federal Court of Australia and the Federal Magistrates Court will hold a users' group meeting for the admiralty and maritime jurisdiction on Monday, 4 December 2006 at 4.30pm in the level 17 conference room, Law Courts Building, Queens Square for interested practitioners to come and express their views or simply to listen.

There will be a discussion, amongst other things, of the use of the Federal Magistrates Court; of the role of mediation and arbitration in maritime claims; and of a protocol for interstate arrests.
