Wellbeing & Quality of Working Life Research for the New South Wales Bar

Tue Mar 21 2017

The Bar Council urges members to complete the wellness survey, which commenced last week. The survey uses a link to a confidential online platform. Participants cannot be identified by their link. The survey ends on 31 March 2017. If you need the link to be re-sent, then send a request to Georgina Stow via email.

The NSW Bar Council has been assisted with the design and delivery of the survey by a team from the United Kingdom, who conducted similar work on behalf of the General Council of the Bar. The UK project has been beneficial to the profession in terms of engagement with their members, representation with government and other third parties, which utilised the data gathered. A report will be received by the NSW Bar Council, which will analyse the data generated by the survey and assist the NSW Bar Council to provide a strategic review and determine what resources are needed to safeguard the profession.
