NSWLRC review of the Guardianship Act 1987

The New South Wales Law Reform Commission has released the third and final consultation package for the review of the Guardianship Act 1987 (NSW). The material relates to: safeguards and procedures; medical and dental treatment and restrictive practices; and other remaining issues. All materials can be accessed here.

Unless confidentiality is requested, the commission will usually publish a submission on the website and refer to it in publications, including the final report. View their privacy and information management policy.

Submissions close on Friday, 12 May 2017 and can be emailed to nsw-lrc@justice.nsw.gov.au or posted to GPO Box 31, Sydney NSW 2001.
