BarCare will have a new director of care and assistance on 16 January 2017, when Jenny Houen takes over following the retirement of the long-serving Penny Johnston. Jenny comes with many years of experience and is highly qualified to take on the role. Penny will remain with us for a few weeks to ensure a smooth transition. The change-over will require new email addresses and phone numbers, these will all be updated on the Bar Association web site and announced in In Brief next week.

BarCare is an independent professional counselling service designed to assist members of the New South Wales Bar to manage stress-related problems, such as marital breakdowns, drug or alcohol dependency and practice pressures.
