Tender opportunity for facilitators - Defence Abuse Response Taskforce

Tue Dec 06 2016

From 1 December 2016, the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman’s (OCO) jurisdiction has been expanded to include an independent process to resolve reports of serious abuse in Defence. One of the available actions the OCO can take to respond to individual reports of abuse is to facilitate restorative engagement conferences, similar to those run by the Defence Abuse Response Taskforce.

On Monday, 28 November 2016, the OCO released an Approach to Market (ATM) on AusTender, seeking suitably qualified and experienced facilitators to conduct Restorative Engagement Conferences as a Panel Arrangement.

The Tender closes at 4:00pm Canberra time on Tuesday, 31 January 2017.

Practitioners with experience in mediation, family dispute resolution, restorative practice, conciliation, group facilitation or similar processes may be interested in this tender. The Tender can be viewed following the ATM identification number ATM 2016/55 and link here.

Any queries related to the published ATM should be forwarded to:procurement@ombudsman.gov.au
