Media briefing: barristers marketing online

Fri Nov 04 2016

The Legal Review published in today's edition of The Australian features articles on innovation, technology and "digital disruption" and how they affect the bar and the courts. "Brand Builders", by Michael Pelly, features an interview with Elizabeth Cheeseman SC, chair of the Practice Development Committee and examines how the "Net Generation" of barristers is using Internet search engine optimization to help bring in clients. Also, Chief Justice James Allsop has penned a feature on the "New order in court", where innovation is driving improvements to efficiency in the Federal Court. A copy of Legal Review is held in the Bar Library.
