Using Cost Orders to Control the Expense of International Commercial Arbitration

Members are invited to attend the third event in the International Arbitration Series, a joint initiative of the CIArb Australia and Federal Court of Australia. Addressed by a distinguished panel: the Hon James Allsop AO, chief justice of the Federal Court of Australia (chair), Prof Doug Jones AO, Prof Janet Walker and Malcolm Holmes QC, this seminar will focus on on using cost orders to control the expense of international commercial arbitration, the subject of the prestigious 2016 CIArb Roebuck Lecture delivered by Prof Doug Jones AO. This event will build on this lecture, the text of which is available here.

An interactive Q and A session will follow at the conclusion of proceedings.
