Challenges and realities of buying-in, moving chambers, negotiating licences, working in annexes and life after readership Acquiring a secure base to practice is one of the challenges of the first few years at the bar. This panel will discuss their experiences and provide advice on buying into chambers (both in a Wentworth/Selborne floor and a rental floor), licensing a room, life in an annex/annexes, moving onto a newly established floor, and maintaining your practice and connections when moving chambers as a junior barrister.
