Media reports on NSW Bar's serious concerns over control order legislation

Thu Apr 14 2016

The Bar Association's submission and media release on the NSW Government's Serious Crime Prevention Orders legislation was the subject of an article in the Sydney Morning Herald and some discussion on social media and talkback radio. The Herald article refers extensively to the association’s submission and includes quotes from President Noel Hutley SC. The president also did an interview regarding the legislation on the Robbie Buck program on ABC 702 this morning. Copies of the transcript are held in the Bar Library.
