Tue Apr 05 2016

The Legislative Council's Law and Justice Committee began its review of the state’s compulsory third party (CTP) personal injury insurance scheme today - the first since the role of the MAA was assumed by the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA).

Submissions to the review are due by Friday, 13 May 2016. Please note the terms of reference prevent the committee from investigating individual participants’ matters in relation to the scheme.

Further information about the review can be obtained from the Committee Secretariat via telephone (02) 9230 3307, fax (02) 9230 2981, email: lawandjustice@parliament.nsw.gov.au, or on the committee’s website: www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/lawandjustice.
