NSW Custody Statistics December Quarterly Update

The number of adults and juveniles in custody in NSW is rising again, according to the latest data from the Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR). The result is attributable to an increase in the percentage of defendants refused bail by police and a surge in the number of remand receptions. Learn more here.
