PM's comments on Indigenous advisory body 'misconceived'

President Arthur Moses SC has described as 'misconceived' recent comments by Prime Minister Turnbull regarding an Indigenous advisory body to parliament, which was the key recommendation of the Referendum Council and the Uluru Statement.

"In no way does the voice recommendation impact on the sovereignty of the Parliament or create a third chamber of Parliament," Arthur Moses SC said.
