Malcolm Oakes SC has produced a list of members of the Sydney Bar who have published books beyond legal texts. The list covers 200 years. The criteria are authorship of a work which does not have the better (or at least more well-informed) practice of law as its purpose and has 45 or more pages. It is hoped to formally publish a list in the new year. For the draft please see pages 24 to 32 in the latest issue of the Forbes Society’s Flyer.
