Richard Cobden SC and some interstate colleagues have started a group called YES! Lawyers for Equality. It is not a formal organisation; it is a list of lawyers (barristers, solicitors, in-house counsel, students) who want actively to assist in the Yes vote. If you would like to join the group, simply send an email to marriageequality@richardcobden.com. The only conditions are that you agree to go on the mailing list to be updated about the Yes Campaign, and opportunities to assist with it; and send a $100 donation (at least; in fact those joining the list are making very substantial and much-appreciated donations) to the official Yes Campaign organisation (tax deductible, details are supplied when you sign up). Names will not be published without further consent.
