Professional development

The tutor/reader relationship forms a critical part of the introduction and transition to a career at the bar. For commencing practitioners, and the profession at large, it is critical that potential tutors and readers are able to connect. The NSW Bar Association will be publishing a list of potential tutors on our website.

If you are interested in becoming a tutor, and meet the pre-requisites for being a potential tutor set out in the Bar Association's Tutor Policy, please compete the “Potential Tutor” form here. Once complete please email the form to Courtney Ford at cford@nswbar.asn.au. Courtney will advise of any further step needed to complete the process. Inclusion on the list does not involve an offer or commitment to accept a reader.
