That time has come again and the annual LAWSKI weekend will be held at Thredbo between 3 to 6 August 2017.

LAWSKI (formerly the Lawyers Ski and Snowboard Race) has been held annually in Thredbo since 1990. The event has grown to the stage where lawyers and barristers from all over New South Wales and interstate, attend the weekend. While the LAWSKI weekend generally reaches its capacity of 350, the race itself attracts nearly 200 lawyers and barristers, both skiers and snowboarders, to the starting gate. The event also attracts many non-racing skiers and boarders together with many guests who just enjoy the off mountain/apres events.

The event consists of the:

  • AUDREY WILKINSON REGISTRATION PARTY (SYDNEY) - The Flynn;
  • 'LAW IN ORDER' 'FREEZE DOWN' DRINKS - Piano Lounge Bar, Thredbo Alpine Hotel;
  • RACE COURSE TRAINING - Rossignol Race Course, Thredbo (Snowgums Mid-station);
  • LAWYERS' SKI AND SNOWBOARD RACE;
  • POST-RACE LUNCH - Mumm Poolside Bar, Thredbo Alpine Hotel; and
  • SKIMAX PRESENTATION DINNER - Kosciuszko Room, Thredbo Alpine Hotel.

This year SKIMAX will once again be giving away two amazing prizes to LAWSKI attendees: 5 nights in a platinum rated, 3-bedroom residence at Vail Residences at Hotel Talisa and 7 nights in a twin share room at the New Furano Prince Hotel. But even if you are not one of the 2 lucky LAWSKI-ers to win one of this year’s SKIMAX trips, you can still be a winner – SKIMAX continues to provide an exceptional discount to ALL LAWSKI participants for their Southern or Northern Hemisphere ski bookings.

Registrations now open. Be quick as the last few years have seen a sell-out.
