The NSW Bar Half Marathon team of President Arthur Moses SC and Ben Symons completed the SMH Half-Marathon on Sunday, 21 May. In doing so, they finished strongly in raising more than $11,000 for the Katrina Dawson Foundation. Moses SC Tweeted shortly after the event, thanking members of the bar for their generosity and promised that 'Katrina Dawson will not be forgotten'. It's not too late to make a donation, via the team's fundraising page on Everyday Hero. The money raised will go to fund a Katrina Dawson Award for a female reader in each Bar Practice Course, worth $12,000. The prize recipient will be chosen on the basis of excellent academic qualifications, demonstrated leadership in the community and a commitment to enrolling in a Bar Practice Course within 18 months of winning the award.
