Practising Certificate 2019 – 2020 Renewals

Wed Mar 20 2019
Online renewals

Renewals for the 2019 - 2020 period commence 1 April 2019 until 7 June 2019. Any renewals received between 8 June and 30 June 2019 will still be accepted but will have a late-fee applied.

Renewal forms will not be accepted after midnight on 30 June 2019. This year, renewals will need to be completed online via our new ONLINE WEB BASED SYSTEM. In the lead up to the renewals period, barristers will be advised of the link they will need to use to access the new online renewals portal. Your login details are the same as those for your member dashboard login. If you are unsure of what these details are, please contact Reception on either 9232 4055 or reception@nswbar.asn.au and they will be able to email them out to you.

Before 1 April, we would encourage members to ensure that your practice address and contact details are up to date and that you have your member username and password.

Please be aware that information on the Professional Indemnity Insurance Policy wording for the 2019 – 2020 year will be released in the last week of March.

It would be appreciated if any barrister who did not wish to renew their practising certificate for the 2019 – 2020 year, would contact the Certification Officer in writing prior to 7 June 2019.
