Class Actions half-day and Preparing Expert Witnesses lunchtime seminar

The CLA’s Class Actions Half-day kicks off an interesting morning with Elizabeth Collins SC on lessons from the Banking Royal Commission, followed by a discussion of the latest ALRC recommendations with Matt Corrigan, ALRC; Jason Betts, HSF; Matthew Kennedy, IMF Bentham; Andrew Dawson, Marsh; and Odette McDonald, Phi Finney McDonald. The seminar will conclude with a look at emerging issues in funding class actions with Ben Phi from Phi Finney McDonald. The Chair is Hon Justice Brigitte Markovic.

Helping litigators understand experts. How to prepare and examine them After lunch is served, Gene Phillips from PF2 Securities will examine the difficulties of managing technical and statistical evidence. He will provide helpful suggestions. Registration and more info about both seminars here.
